Vegetables With Holiday Sauce

Ingredients
  Carrots 1 Pound, cut in 1 1/2 - 2-inch pieces
  Frozen brussels sprouts 20 Ounce (2 Packages, 10 Ounce Each)
  Chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Condensed consomm 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 can)
  Apple juice 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Ground clove 1 Teaspoon (For Garnish)
Directions

MAKING
1) Take a skillet and cook carrots and Brussels sprouts in it.
2) In another saucepan, melt butter and cook onion until tender.
3) Add consommé, apple juice, lemon juice, cornstarch and brown sugar. Stir and cook the mixture until it is adequately thickened.

SERVING
4) Combine the sauce with hot cooked vegetables and serve.
