Poached Pears with Raspberry Sauce
Sugar - 1 cup
Lemon - 1, juice
Pears - 6, peeled leaving stems, removed end cores
Frozen raspberries - 10 ounces, partially thawed
1. In a saucepan, add grape juice, sugar, lemon juice and bring to a boil.
2. Add the end cored and peeled pears to the boiling liquid. Cover and simmer until tender. Remove from heat, remove pears from syrup and chill.
3. Serve chilled with or without the syrup.
