Broccoli In Oyster Sauce

Ingredients
Broccoli - 10-12 oz (275-350 g)
Seasoned oil - 3-4 tablespoons
Fresh ginger root - A few small bits
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Soft brown sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Stock or water - 2 tablespoons
Oyster sauce - 1-2 tablespoons
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Prepare the vegetables by cutting them into a roughly uniform shape and size.

MAKING
2. In a preheated wok until hot heat the oil, add the raw vegetables first (canned baby corn cobs and straw mushrooms are pre-cooked, so they only need to be warmed through) and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
3. Add the canned items with the salt and sugar and continue stirring for another minute, add the soy sauce and MSG (if using) and blend well.

SERVING
4. Garnish with the sesame oil and serve hot or cold.
