Seafood Cocktail Sauce

Ingredients
  Tomato juice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dried basil 1 Pinch
  Ground mace 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Prepared horseradish 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Dry mustard 1 Pinch
Directions

MAKING
1. In a saucepan, put together tomato juice, salt, basil, mace and cayenne; simmer until the liquid is reduced to 1/2 its original volume.
2. Remove the pan from heat and stir in horseradish, lemon juice and mustard.
3. Season the sauce according to taste.

FINALISING
4. Chill the sauce until served.
5. If desired, a dash of sweetener can be added.

SERVING
6. Serve with steamed shrimps.
