|Fresh mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced|
|Tomato juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dried minced onions||1 Tablespoon|
|Parsley flakes||1 Teaspoon|
|Basil leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Oregano leaves||1 1⁄2 Pinch (Generous Pinch)|
1) In a saucepan, add all the ingredients.
2) Place the saucepan over heat to simmer, uncovered, until the quantity reduces to 1/2 its original volume. Stir occasionally during the simmering.
3) Serve the sauce with your choice of snacks, main dish or side dish.
You may use other herbs to make the sauce as per your choice. Tarragon could be added or substituted for added flavor.
