Homemade Meat Sauce

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Beef 1 Pound, ground
  Italian sausages 1 , chopped
  Italian tomatoes 2 Can (20 oz)
  Tomato paste 2 Can (20 oz)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Oregano leaf 1 Tablespoon, crumbled
  Basil leaf 1 Tablespoon, crumbled
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), grated
Directions

MAKING
1) In a large skillet, heat oil. Add in the onions and garlic and saute till they soften.
2) Add in the beef and sausage. Brown on all sides.
3) Retain 2 tablespoons of fat in the skillet and drain off the rest.
4) Into the skillet, add in tomatoes, tomato pasta, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Let simmer for 45 minutes without the lid on.
5) When the sauce has thickened, add in the parmesan cheese. Stir well till the cheese melts. Let cool.
6) The sauce can be stored frozen in plastic containers.

SERVING
7) The homemade meat sauce can be served on pastas.
