Fruit Sauce

Ingredients
  Peach jam 1 Pound (2 cups)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon 1 , rind grated and juiced
  Dates 1⁄4 Pound, chopped
  Cherries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), blanched and slivered
  Rum flavoring 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan, heat water, jam, lemon juice and lemon rind.
2) Add the dates, cherries, almonds and rum.
3) Simmer, stirring continuously until thickened.

SERVING
4) Refrigerate and serve as desired.
