Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In small heavy pan, heat sugar over low heat, stirring constantly.
2) Cook until sugar melts and is slightly browned.
3) In a thin stream add boiling water.
4) Boil the mixture for 6 minutes.
5) Add salt, and cool.
6) Stir in vanilla.

SERVING
7) Serve with desired dessert.
