Red Wine Barbecue Sauce
|Dry red wine||8 Fluid Ounce (1 cup / 250 milliliter)|
|Red wine vinegar||3 Fluid Ounce (1/3 cup / 80 milliliter)|
|Olive oil||2 Fluid Ounce (1/4 cup / 60 milliliter)|
|Worcestershire sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Grated orange zest||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
In a saucepan mix together the wine, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, onion, sugar and orange zest.
Bring it to boil and then reduce the heat and simmer, partially covered, for about 25 minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir in the garlic.
This sauce remains quite thin.
This is a very easy to make sauce ideal for barbeque preparations.
