|Onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Carrots||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), grated|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Beef broth||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Tomato paste||1 Tablespoon|
1.In a saucepan, heat margarine until melted.
2.Put onions and carrots and cook for 5 minutes.
3.Add flour and stir until browned.
4.Put salt, pepper, and broth in the pan and stir until the ingredients boil.
5.Add tomato paste and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
6.Use as required.
