Rosy Cranberry Apple Sauce
|Apples||6 Large (Northern Spies Are Good)|
|Cranberries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Uncooked)|
|Cider/Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Honey/White sugar||6 Tablespoon|
Wash and cut apples into quarters.
Do not core or peel.
Place in a saucepan that has a tight-fitting lid.
Add the cranberries and cider.
Simmer covered 15-20 minutes, stirring and mashing periodically until the apples are soft and the cranberries have popped.
Put through a food mill or push through a sieve.
Taste, add more sweetening if desired.
