Rosy Cranberry Apple Sauce

Ingredients
  Apples 6 Large (Northern Spies Are Good)
  Cranberries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Uncooked)
  Cider/Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Honey/White sugar 6 Tablespoon
Directions

Wash and cut apples into quarters.
Do not core or peel.
Place in a saucepan that has a tight-fitting lid.
Add the cranberries and cider.
Simmer covered 15-20 minutes, stirring and mashing periodically until the apples are soft and the cranberries have popped.
Put through a food mill or push through a sieve.
Add honey.
Taste, add more sweetening if desired.
Chill.
