Chocolate Nut Crackle Sauce
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Medium Fine)|
|Semisweet chocolate pieces||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
Melt butter in small heavy skillet over low heat.
Add nuts and cook, stirring to prevent burning, until light golden brown.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until melted and smooth.
Serve on ice cream.
Sauce becomes firm.
Makes 1 1/4 cups.
