Tournedos With Mushroom Wine Sauce
|Finely chopped shallots||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Small mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound, halved|
|Steak sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Burgundy/Other dry red wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beef tenderloin steaks||16 Ounce (4 Steaks, 4 Ounce Each, Tournedos, About 1 Inch Thick)|
In medium saucepan, over medium heat, saute shallots in margarine until tender.
Stir in mushrooms; saute 1 minute.
Stir in steak sauce and wine; heat to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in parsley; keep warm.
Grill steaks over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until done, turning occasionally.
Serve steaks topped with warm sauce.
