Tenderloins With Roasted Garlic Sauce
|Garlic bulbs||5 Ounce, separated but not peeled (2 Whole Ones)|
|Steak sauce||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beef tenderloin steaks||24 Ounce (4 Steaks, 6 Ounce Each, About 1 Inch Thick)|
Place unpeeled garlic cloves on baking sheet.
Bake at 500°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until garlic is soft; cool.
Squeeze garlic pulp from skins; chop pulp slightly.
In small saucepan, combine garlic pulp, 1/2 cup steak sauce, wine and onion.
Heat to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Grill steaks over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until done, brushing occasionally with remaining steak sauce.
Serve steak with warm garlic sauce.
