Rum Sauce

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Boiling water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dark rum 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a large pan, place the sugar, cornstarch, salt and boiling water
2. Cook the mixture while stirring gently to make sure that it does not stick
3. When the mixture becomes clear remove from heat
4. Add the butter and the frosting and mix well again

SERVING
5. Serve hot with Christmas pudding and mincemeat pies.
