Medium White Sauce
|Cold milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Corn starch||1 Tablespoon|
1. In a small heavy saucepan, add corn starch, salt and pepper.
2. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until well blended into a smooth sauce. , gradually stir milk into corn starch.
3. Slide in the margarine and heat, stirring until well blended.
4. Bring to boil, stirring and cook for another 1 minute until thick and bubbly.
5. This makes about 1 cup of sauce which should be used immediately.
