Chicken In Sauce
|Chicken pieces||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, diced|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Ketchup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 , diced|
|Celery||1 Cup (16 tbs), diced|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm) (Put On A Toothpick, So It Can Later Be Removed)|
Brown chicken pieces and diced onion under broiler or in skillet.
Drain fat and place chicken and onion in roasting pan.
Combine sauce ingredients and pour over chicken.
Roast, covered, in 325Â°F oven for 1 1/4 hours or till done.
Remove chicken to platter and serve sauce as gravy.
