Ginger Soy Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
  Minced fresh ginger 1 Tablespoon
  Minced garlic 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Chicken broth 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Light soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Rice vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Asian sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Dried red pepper 1 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Place the ginger, garlic, sugar, and broth in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove the saucepan from the heat and transfer the liquid to a bowl to cool.
2. When the mixture is at room temperature, combine it with the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Season to taste with salt and dried red pepper flakes. Transfer to a glass jar, cover, and store in the refrigerator.
