Shrimp and Jicama In Soy Sesame Sauce's picture
  Sesame seeds 3⁄4 Ounce (1/4 Cup Or 20 Grams)
  Sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon, finely grated
  Fresh ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon, peeled and finely grated
  Sea salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Dry sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Asian sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
  Asian sesame 1 Tablespoon
  Shrimp/Prawns 1⁄2 Pound, peeled and deveined (250 Grams)
  Shrimp 1⁄2 Pound
  Jicama 1⁄2 , peeled and julienned
  Jicama 1⁄2
  Coriander/ cilantro 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Fresh cilantro 1⁄3 Ounce, chopped (1/3 Cup Or 10 Grams, Fresh Coriander)

1.In a small, dry frying pan toast the sesame seeds, stirring over high heat, until lightly golden, about 2 minutes.
2.Place in a dish and keep aside.
3.In a bowl, mix cornstarch, ginger, sea salt, dry mustard, soy sauce, and sherry.
4.In a saute pan warm the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
5.Add in shrimp, reduce the heat to medium, and stir cook, until the shrimp are opaque, about 2 minutes.
6.In a bowl containing soy-sherry mixture place shrimp and any pan juices and turn to coat the shrimp.
7.Add in jicama and coat .

8.On 4 plates, arrange shrimp and jicama .
9.Top with the sesame seeds and the cilantro and serve hot .
