Rigatoni In Red Wine Sauce

Ingredients
  Rigatoni 12 Ounce
  Red wine 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Like Barlo)
  Onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Thyme sprig/1/2 teaspoon dried thyme sprig 1
Directions

MAKING
1) Cook the rigatoni al dente for about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2) In a saucepan, add wine and let it come to a boil. In about 4 minutes, when it has reduced by half add in the tomato sauce, onions and thyme.
3) Turn down the heat to medium and continue cooking for 15 minutes.

SERVING
4) To serve toss the pasta with the sauce and sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese.
