Taxes Hill Country Soppin Sauce

Ingredients
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), chopped
  Red pepper flakes 1 Tablespoon
  Cilantro 1⁄2 Teaspoon, chopped
  Cumin 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Anise seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ketchup 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Hot pepper sauce To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1) In a food processor or blender, combine together all the ingredients except for the hot pepper sauce and ketchup.
2) Process till the mixture is smooth.
3) Pour the processed mixture into a saucepan.
4) Add the ketchup and heat to boiling.
5) Reduce the heat and gently simmer, uncovered, for about 30 minutes.
6) Add the hot pepper sauce as per taste.

SERVING
7) Serve or use as preferred.
