Crispy Pork With Apple Sauce

Ingredients
  Pork belly 2 Pound (900 Gram)
  Golden breadcrumbs 4 Ounce (225 Gram)
  Mustard powder 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Salt To Taste
  Black pepper To Taste
For sauce
  Cooking apples 1 Pound (450 Gram)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Water 3 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Ounce (25 Gram)
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Sugar To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Set the oven to 375°F/190°C/Gas 5

MAKING
2. Remove the rind, fat and bones of the pork and cut into half inch strips
3. Mix the breadcrumbs with lemon rind, mustard and seasoning and spread the mixture on a large sheet of greaseproof paper
4. Dip each pork slice first in the chicken, then dredge in the breadcrumbs; place them in a single layer in a greased ovenproof dish
5. Bake for forty to fifty minutes until crisp outside and cooked inside
6. For the apple sauce, place apple slices in a saucepan, add lemon juice and water and allow to simmer till soft
7. In a small pan, melt butter and fry onions till golden brown; add to the cooked apple and add sugar to taste
8. Drain the cooked pork slices for excess fat and arrange on a serving dish

SERVING
9. Serve with apple sauce
