Chicken in Tomato Wine Sauce
|Onion||1 , diced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Chicken pieces||3 Pound, cut into serving pieces|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned mushrooms stems and pieces||4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|White wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1) In a large pot, place all the ingredients, except mushrooms and wine. Mix well.
2) Cover and simmer for 45 minutes over very low flame.
3) Add mushrooms and wine and cook for 5 minutes more.
4) Serve hot with noodles or steamed rice.
