Basic Orange Sauce
|Orange juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Orange rind||1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated|
1) Cook a mixture of all ingredients over low heat, stirring well, until sugar dissolves.
2) Thicken the sauce slightly by simmering for about 5 minutes until it becomes transparent.
3) Use as required.
