Kidneys In Sherry Sauce
|Onion||1 , peeled and chopped|
|Button mushrooms||50 Gram, cleaned|
|Flour||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
|Sherry||90 Milliliter (6 Tablespoon)|
|Red currant jelly||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1.Heat butter and saute onion until golden brown.
2.Rinse, skin and hoolow the kidneys; chop them into 3 pieces each.
3.Put kidneys and mushrooms in the pan and suate for 5 minutes.
4.Put flour, stock, sherry and red curreant jelly along with seasoning.
5.Let the ingredients boil; once done cook for 5 minutes after covering.
Kidney is sherry sauce can be frozen. For serving the frozen dish needs to be reheated at 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.
