White Sauce Base
|Black pepper/White pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over low heat.
Blend in the flour and seasonings, stirring constantly, for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Slowly add the milk, still stirring.
Simmer the sauce, stirring, until it is thick and smooth.
