Sweet Funky Dunking Sauce

Ingredients
  Dark brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole black peppercorns 10 (Not Ground Pepper)
  White vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Apricot preserves/Jam 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Cold water 2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a pan, add the brown sugar, peppercorns and vinegar and heat it till the sugar dissolves; keep stirring
2. Add in the apricot preserves and allow to cook gently till the apricot melts
3. In a bowl, combine cornstarch and water into a smooth consistency
4. Stir it into the apricot mixture and cook it all till the cornstarch is dissolved
5. Allow it to cool and refrigerate

SERVING
6. This sauce goes wonderfully with roast pork, spareribs, chicken and even egg rolls
