Brandy Sauce

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brandy 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Can Use More If Desired)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
2. Stir in the butter and boiling water.
3. Place pan on a medium low flame and cook, stirring for about 5-6 minutes until the sauce is thick and clear.
4. Take the pan off the flame and stir in the brandy.

SERVING
5. Use to warm sauce to top a cake or pudding.
