Vanilla Sauce Using Cornstarch

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Boiling water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Sift sugar, cornstarch and salt together into a saucepan.
2. Add water gradually, stirring constantly.
3. Continue to stir, bring to boiling and simmer 5 min.
4. Remove from heat and blend in butter or margarine and vanilla extract.
