Butterscotch Mace Sundae Sauce

Ingredients
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Light cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Powdered mace 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a saucepan, prepare a mixture of corn syrup, sugar, water and butter. Place on low heat and cook to a soft ball consistency.
2. Take off from heat, add mace and cream and stir well.

SERVING
3. Use as desired.

TIPS
1. Soft ball consistency: The mixture when added to cold water should form soft balls.
