Taffy Sundae Sauce

|Butter/Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Molasses||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Diluted evaporated milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt butter; add sugar and molasses.
Bring to rolling boil; reduce heat and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Serve hot over waffles, or hot or cold over ice cream.
