Cherry Sauce With Grape Juice
|Fresh sweet cherries||1 1⁄2 Pound, stems and pits removed|
|White grape juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Cinnamon stick||1 (Whole)|
|Sweet 'n low granulated sugar substitute||1 Teaspoon|
In medium-size saucepan over nedium heat, combine all ingredients; cook, stirring frequently, 35 to 40 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Cool and pack in freezer containers or sterilized jelly jars.
Seal and cool completely; freeze.
Makes two 8-ounce freezer containers or jars.
Serve over ice milk, fresh fruit, angel food cake or sponge cake.
