Beer Barbecue Sauce
|Molasses/Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Prepared mustard||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Finely minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Beer||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1) In a saucepan, combine together all the ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook over low flame for about 5 minutes.
2) Use and serve as needed. A generous amount can be used to baste hamburgers while they are being broiled.
Basting over hot coals can be made easy when cooking outfoors by using a big mug with the barbecue sauce and a brush with a long handle.
