Oriental Mushroom Sauce
|Fresh mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Melted margarine||3 Tablespoon, divided|
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Half and half||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons margarine; set aside.
Combine flour and remaining margarine; place over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Gradually add half-and-half; cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick-ened.
Stir in soy sauce and mushrooms.
Serve hot with toast or steak.
