|Bacon fat||1 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Yellow cornmeal||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Melt bacon fat and saute onion until golden.
Add water and salt and bring to a boil.
Stir in enough cornmeal to give mixture the consistency of a very thick cream sauce.
