Mixed Fruit with Indulgent Sauce
|Heavy cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Almond extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Strawberries||1 Pound, quartered|
|Raspberries||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Kiwis||2 , peeled, halved, and sliced|
1. Pour cream into a 2-cup glass measure. Add chocolate. Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave on full power for 30 seconds. Stir. If necessary, continue to microwave in 5- to 10-second increments, stirring after each one, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Add almond extract.
2. Combine strawberries, raspberries, and kiwis in a bowl; divide among 8 dessert dishes. Top each with a scant tablespoon of sauce and serve.
