Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Salt grains 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix sugar and cornstarch; add water gradually, stirring constantly.
Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat, add butter, vanilla and salt.
Stir until butter is melted and serve hot.
Makes about 1 cup sauce.
