Meat Balls In Mushroom Sauce
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Ground pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Slightly beaten eggs||2|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Crushed oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
Mix meats, eggs, cheese, and seasonings; shape in about thirty 1 1/2-inch balls; brown slowly on all sides in a little hot fat, about 20 minutes.
Drain off excess fat.
Pour in soup; add 2/3 cup water slowly, stirring to blend.
Simmer uncovered 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
