Green Beans With Savory Sauce

  Cooked green beans 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Hot sauce 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Mushroom soup 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Grated cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped pimento 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste

Cook the beans but do not let them get too soft.
Place them in a well greased oven dish.
In a separate pan melt the butter, and add the Worcester sauce, flour, salt and pepper and stir well.
Cook a few minutes, then add the soup.
Tomato soup can be used instead of mushroom.
Stir constantly until the sauce is thick.
Remove from heat and stir in the grated cheese and pimento.
Pour sauce over the beans.
Bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes.
Slices of toast spread with parsley butter, chopped radishes and sweet pickle make a good accompaniment.
