ARTICHOKES WITH CREAM CHEESE SAUCE
|Salted boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Clove||3 , cut|
|For cream cheese sauce|
|Cream cheese||4 Ounce|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
Clean Artichokes, and simmer in salted water to which has been added 3 cut cloves and 1 tspn, oil until they are tender, Remove leaves, and arrange on a platter.
Pour over the cream cheese sauce.
Make the sauce by mixing in to the cream cheese salt, pepper, finely chopped onion and lemon juice, and enough milk or cream (tinned milk may be used) to make a thick cream sauce.
