Baked Lima Beans In Tomato Sauce
|Dried lima beans||1 Pound (1 Package)|
|Tomato sauce||16 Ounce (Two 8 Ounce Cans)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Light brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
Cook beans until justtender.
Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces.
Add onion and saut6 until it is tender and bacon is browned.
Combine all ingredients and mix until well-blended.
Turn into 2-1/2-quart shallow baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
