Halibut With Tomato Sauce
|Halibut steak||4 Ounce (Fresh / Frozen, Thawed)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Tomato||1 Small, chopped|
|Green onion and tops||1 , chopped|
|Dried basil leaves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Place halibut steak[s] in 10-oz shallow casserole [20-oz shallow casserole].
Mix lemon juice, water and garlic powder; pour over halibut.
Cover and refrigerate, spooning liquid over halibut occasionally, at least 1 hour; drain.
Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over halibut.
Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high (550 watts) until halibut flakes easily with fork, 3 to 5 min [5 to 7 min].
Halibut should register 175° on meat thermometer.
Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley if desired.
