Onion Tomato Sauce

A variation from the normal sauce, this onion and tomato sauce goes well with hot snacks, sandwiches, mashes potatoes and rice.
Ingredients
  Onions 1 Pound, sliced
  Oil 4 Tablespoon
  Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Tomato paste 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a steel skillet, heat oil.
2. Add onions and fry it until it is glazed.
3. Mix honey and lemon juice well and add it to the onions.
4. Add tomato paste.
5. Add raisins and salt and let it simmer over a low flame for 30 minutes.

SERVING
6. Serve Onion and Tomato sauce with hot snacks or sandwiches.
