Steamed Vegetables In Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients
  Tender young carrots 6 , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  Zucchini 2 Medium
  Yellow squash 2 Medium
  Butter 2 Tablespoon, melted
  Fresh lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY 1) Let zucchini and suqsh to remain uncut. 2) Prepare the steamer. MAKING 3) In the steamer, place the carrots. 4) Cover the steamer and steam the carrots over the boiling water for 10 minutes. 5) Add to the steamer, zucchini and squash and steam them for about 5-7 minutes or until soften. FINALIZING 6) In a serving dish, take out the steamed vegetables. 7) Cut the squash lengthwise into quarters and then cut into cubes of 1/2 inches. 8) In a measuring cup, mix butter with lemon juice and pour the mixture over vegetables. 9) Toss the veggies well. SERVING 10) You may reheat the veggies before serving. 11) Serve it as a side dish.
