Spice Dusted Beef With Coconut Sauce
|Baking potatoes||4 Large|
|Sirloin steak||1 Pound (450 Gram)|
|Garam masala||10 Milliliter (2 Teaspoon)|
|Turmeric||2 1⁄2 Milliliter (1/2 Teaspoon)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Fresh ginger||1⁄2 Ounce, finely grated (12 Gram)|
|Fresh grated coconut||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Double cream||5 Fluid Ounce (150 Milliliter)|
1)Bake potatoes in oven.
2)Using a sharp meat knife, slice steak into strips. Place on plate. Sprinkle a mixture of turmeric and garam masala ove the steak strips. Coat well.
3)In a frying pan, heat 30 ml of oil. When oil begins to smoke, add steak strips gradually and fry them well until both sides turn brown. Drain and blot on kitchen towels.
4)Now add another 15 ml vegetable oil to the frying pan and saute chopped onions in it. Add in the ginger and coconut too. Stir for a few seconds.
5)Add double cream after lowering heat. Stir for a few minutes and let flavors blend and mix well.
6)Put the fried steak strips in pan and coat with sauce.
7)Check seasoning by tasting a spoonful of sauce.
8)Slice the baked potatoes to 2/3 depth and then pry them open with your hands gently.
9)Using a fork, fluff the cooked flesh of potato.
10)Spoon topping over baked potatoes and serve warm
