Thin White Sauce
|Butter/Margarine or shortening||1 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Melt the butter, margarine or shortening, blend in the flour.
2. Gradually stir in the milk. Simmer, stirring until the mixture boils and thickens. Then cook about 3 minutes more.
3. Add the salt and pepper.
