Cherries And Pears In Wine Sauce
|Canned dark pitted cherries||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned pear halves||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sweet red wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Orange peel||1 Tablespoon|
Drain syrup from cherries and pears into glass casserole dish.
Stir in wine, orange peel and cornstarch.
Cook on HIGH (9) for 4 to 6 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring twice.
Combine fruit with hot sauce.
Serve over ice cream or sponge cake.
