Pears with Caramel Sauce
|Ground cinnamon||1 Dash|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sweetened whipped cream/Whipped topping||1 Tablespoon|
Set Power Select at HIGH.
Core pears and peel skin 1 -inch from top.
Combine sugar and dash cinnamon; sprinkle inside pears.
In oblong baking dish, arrange pears; sprinkle with water.
Heat, covered, 8 to 9 minutes or until pears are tender, cool or chill.
Just before serving, in glass bowl, combine caramels, butter, rum, water and cinnamon; heat 2 to 3 minutes, stirring twice until smooth.
Spoon sauce over pears; top with sweetened whipped cream.
