Scrumptious Butterscotch Sauce
|Light brown sugar||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) (Packed)|
|Half and half||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
In 1 1/2-qt casserole stir together cornstarch and brown sugar.
Stir in half & half, corn syrup and salt.
Microwave at High (10) 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 Minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until thickened and sugar is dissolved.
Add vanilla and stir until smooth and well blended.
Serve warm or cold.
