Cranberry Orange Sauce

Ingredients
  Fresh cranberries 1 Pound (4 Cups)
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated orange peel 1 Teaspoon
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Slivered almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

In a 2-quart casserole combine all ingredients except nuts.
Micro-cook, covered, till berries pop, about 12 minutes; stir after 6 minutes, then stir every 2 minutes.
Stir in nuts.
Chill in covered container.
